Preview. This agent is in preview — available to companies in the preview program, and still evolving.
The Passolution Agent is a built-in agent for travel intelligence powered by Passolution: live travel events and alerts, plus entry, visa, and health regulations for any destination and traveller nationality.
When you'd use this
Use the Passolution Agent before and during a trip: check what's happening at a destination (strikes, weather, security incidents), or confirm what a traveller needs to enter a country (passport rules, visa, vaccinations). For example: "Travelling to Egypt in March with a Swiss passport — anything I should know?" returns entry requirements and active alerts in one answer.
Steps
Ask about a destination
In the Workbench sidebar, click Chats (under the Terminal section).
Click New chat and select Passolution Agent from the agent picker.
Ask your question — name the destination, the travel dates, and (for entry rules) the traveller's nationality. Nationality changes the answer, so the agent asks for it when it's missing.
Check a TripBuilder booking
If your company runs on TripBuilder (see TripBuilder integration), give the agent a booking reference instead of describing the trip. The agent pulls the itinerary itself, confirms the booking in one line, and checks alerts and entry rules for the destinations, dates, and traveller nationalities on that booking.
Run it as a report
The agent is also available under Reports — provide an itinerary description or a TripBuilder booking reference and get a downloadable HTML report of alerts and entry requirements.
Travel regulations need a Passolution subscription
The agent's two capabilities are covered differently:
Travel events and alerts are included with TAI.
Entry, visa, and health regulations run against Passolution's regulations database. While the agent is in its preview phase, these lookups are included via a Nezasa-provided Passolution account. Once the agent becomes generally available, your company needs its own Passolution access token to keep using regulations lookups — a company admin adds it once in the Workbench under Settings → Credentials (see Credentials).
Without a token, the agent still answers events and alerts questions; visa and entry questions will point you to your company admin.
Tips and limits
Entry rules depend on the traveller's nationality — include it in your question ("German citizens", "Swiss passport") to get the answer in one round.
Regulations content is available in 21 languages; the agent answers in your Workbench language where Passolution supports it.
Regulations are point-in-time snapshots from Passolution — the agent quotes content-freshness dates where available. Verify critical requirements with official sources before travel.
The agent reports what Passolution says — it doesn't provide legal advice or immigration counselling.
