TripBuilder Ops & BI Agent

Written by Product Management

This article is auto-synced from its in-app version in Tai.

A built-in agent that turns your TripBuilder data into operational answers and business intelligence — from a single booking lookup to company-wide trends.

When you'd use this

Use the TripBuilder Ops & BI Agent when you need both the big picture and the detail. For the big picture: ask "how many bookings did we create per destination this month?" or "what's the booking status breakdown for last quarter?" and get analytics across all your bookings — with a chart if you want one. For the detail: pull up a single booking by reference, review one traveller's recent trips, or check the components and payment state of a specific booking. The same agent does both, so you can start broad and drill down — or start with one booking and zoom out to the trend it belongs to.

What it can do

The agent works across three capabilities:

  • Consolidated statistics & research. Aggregate analytics across all your bookings — trends, breakdowns, and KPIs such as bookings per destination, status mix over time, or month-on-month volume. This is powered by your booking data warehouse, so questions that span your whole book of business get answered in seconds.

  • Detailed booking & traveller analysis. Drill into an individual booking or traveller for booking-level detail — components, pricing, cancellation costs, payment state, and traveller history. This detail comes from the Cockpit Customer Care app, so a single booking lookup returns the full picture.

  • Rich outputs. The agent doesn't just answer — it presents. Ask for reporting, chart visualization, or a PDF export, and it turns the answer into something you can review, share, and hand on.

Steps

  1. In the Workbench sidebar, click Chats.

  2. Select TripBuilder Ops & BI Agent from the agent picker.

  3. Ask your question — a booking lookup, a traveller search, or an aggregate trend — and follow up to drill in or ask for a chart.

For a one-shot, shareable result, run the agent through Reports instead of a chat: it produces a persisted report you can export as PDF. See Using reports.

Tips and limits

  • The agent is read-only — it queries your data, it never changes a booking.

  • The underlying data access is part of the TripBuilder integration, which is currently Nezasa-managed — Nezasa provisions and operates the connections the agent relies on.

  • Aggregate analytics (counts, trends, breakdowns) are typically refreshed daily, so very recent changes may not appear yet. Individual booking lookups reflect the current state of the booking.
