Release Notes - TAI v0.21.0 (August 24, 2026)

Written by Product Management

You can also browse, search and filter all release notes directly in the application → Open release notes in TAI.

You can now choose how often release-notes emails arrive

New Feature.

My Account → Notifications now offers three levels for the Release notes email: Off, Feature releases (the default — one email after each major or minor release), or All releases, which also includes the smaller maintenance updates in between. Whatever you pick, every release still shows up in the in-app release notes.

Company admins can now see which Billing usage isn't invoiced

New Feature. Only Company Admins.

TripBuilder AI is in private preview ahead of commercial launch. If your company hasn't reached its billing start date yet, the usage shown in Billing Center is tracked for visibility but is not invoiced — a notice now explains this whenever it applies, so the numbers on screen are never mistaken for an invoice.

Reports: over-limit runs now wait in a queue instead of competing

New Feature.

Reports now run under a limit on how many can be in flight at once — per person and per company — so a burst of launches no longer has every run competing for the same capacity and finishing slower. Launch one over the limit and it queues automatically instead of being turned away: you get its place in line, and it starts on its own as soon as capacity frees up. A queued run behaves like any other — it shows in your reports list, and you can open or cancel it while it waits. Company admins get a live view of everyone's queued and running reports at Reports → Queue.

Billing Center CSV columns renamed from billed to billable

Improvement. Only Company Admins.

The Billing Center's Download CSV now names its credit columns billable_credits, compute_billable, connectors_billable and storage_billable — previously billed_credits, compute_billed, connectors_billed and storage_billed. Same figures, matching the Billable label on the page: billable is what your usage costs under your plan, which is not the same as what has been invoiced. If you import this export into a spreadsheet or script, point it at the new column names.

Release-notes email is easier to scan — grouped by change type

Improvement.

The "what's new" email now puts a single New / Improved / Fix heading over each group of notes, instead of a coloured tag on every line, and labels who each group is for. Same notes as before, far quicker to read.
